Nominated for "Best Local Live Performance" by AZ DanceMusic Awards 2005. In 2004, Macrodot moved from Ohio to the Phoenix area and has continued to grow his fan base in the local scene. His music has been played out by DJ's in numerous states and the respect he earns for his productions is increasing. His fans quote his music as having a unique progressive electro flavor. What sets Macrodot apart from the crowd is his ability and willingness to play his own original music in a live setup. He writes his own music and performs his own music live. Live keyboards. Longer Biography:
Born n' raised in Ohio. Macrodot has been writing music since the 5th grade. At an early age he played in a rock band for a few years with the drummer and bass player of the recently disbanded myspace.com/suspect. Throughout high school, he ended up selling most of his guitar equipment and bought a few keyboards. Since then, Macrodot has been writing all original electronic music. Around 2000, he was introduced to a few major software titles and has been recording in-house ever since. He also went to the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio and received a recording engineer's certificate. In 2004, he moved to the Phoenix area and has increasingly grown his fan base in the local scene. His music has been played out by DJ's in numerous states and the respect he earns for his productions is rapidly increasing. His fans quote his music as being unique and powerful with liquid bass lines. What sets Macrodot apart from the crowd is his ability and willingness to play his own original music in a live setup. He writes his own music and performs his own music live. Live keyboards. Live music.
